That pistol is certainly a commercial model. The crown/U and crown/B are proof marks meaning, respectively, the definiitive proof and the mark meaning that proving was done with the gun in the finished condition. The barrel should also have a crown/G, the proof mark for rifled barrels. The three proof marks were replaced by the single crown/N in 1912, at about serial number 49xxx, so your pistol dates from before that. One interesting point is that not all Lugers destined for the American market have German proof marks. They were proved, but because the U.S. had no proof law, there was no need to show compliance, so DWM didn't waste time putting them on. A full set of markings could indicate export to England, where the marks were required, but an American Eagle marking sent to England would be odd, though not impossible.
