On her quest she is visited by the mysterious Bad News, her dying father Ty, hus-band Greg and two best friends Taryn and Glory. The Young Producers Organization (YPO) is a student group that provides hands-on experience in all as-pects of theater production. In addition to directing their own plays, theater students are responsible for casting, design, sound, props, lighting, costumes, and marketing.

» “Vision the City: Brendt Berger”
Tuesday — Sept. 24
Brendt Berger’s long career in the arts has been marked by the desire to work in alternative spaces and with alternative materials. In the late 1970s and early 1980s his experiments were centered in New York where he literally transformed elements of the city, and where the life of city became his sub-ject. This exhibition focuses on two bodies of work: a series of striking abstractions of hearts painted on sheets of packing cardboard that commemorate friends and loved ones and documentation of what the Village Voice dubbed in 1978 the “World’s Largest Painting.” In a guerrilla-action style, the artist covered an 800 by 75 feet sec-tion of the West Side Highway with more than 150 gallons of alkyd enamel paint.

I saw this dilapidated house there and l took the picture because the sun was going down and I could see and feel the warmth the evening light on this old, abandoned cottage.  It was taken with my very bad and cheap camera – honestly, I do not know how, but it sometimes manages to catch good light.  I hope that you will like it too and I await your critique.
