Hello, everyone, and welcome once again to the internets movie review column that has never been stuck in an elevator with a ghost, The Gratuitous B-Movie Column, and I am your host Bryan Kristopowitz. In this issue, issue number one hundred and sixty-one, I take a look at the big budget B-movie written and directed by J.J. Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg, Super 8 , which is in movie theatres right this second. Super 8 is a fairly decent big budget summer B-movie. It's a bit too long, a tad unfocussed, and to a certain extent undermined by its large budget, but it works more often than not, and that's often the most important thing when dealing with B-movies, big and small. The flick stars Joel Courtney as Joe Lamb, the son of a small town Ohio sheriff's deputy in 1979. Joe lost his mother in a factory accident and doesn't have much of a relationship with his father, played by Kyle Chandler, so he spends most of his time with his best friend Charles (Riley Griffiths) making a zombie movie (Charles is the director, and Joe does the monster make-up and special effects). It's while filming a scene for that zombie movie that Joe, Charles, Alice (Elle Fanning), and their friends (Cary, Martin, and Preston, as played by Ryan Lee, Gabriel Basso, and Zach Mills) end up witnessing a spectacular train crash that turns out to be something more than a big accident. Almost immediately, the U.S. Air Force is on the scene cleaning up the crash and searching for the special cargo that apparently escaped. The kids are warned by their middle school science teacher Dr. Woodward (Glynn Turman), who caused the train crash, not to say anything because the military will come after them if they do.

Both. I'm not familiar with all the subspecies of amazons, so had to look this up... As per the Lexicon of Parrots, the Yellow-Winged Amazon is a sub-species of the Blue-Fronted Amazon . So a yellow winged amazon is in fact a blue front amazon, only a separate sub-species, like we have tigers, but we have siberian, malayan, bengal, etc. All tigers, but different subspecies of tigers.
